Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!! 🌕 Would love to take this chance to introduce CUDDLES to you all! Cuddles is a super sweet young rabbit that enjoys being held and cuddled and seems equally happy playing by himself in his pen. He is active and playful, but also calm. In short, Cuddles is a perfect balance of a bunny! He's currently the longest term bunny at SFACC. Can you help find him a furever home?
HARLEY is the longest running feline shelter resident @Animal Care & Control San Francisco 😿 She’s been there almost 3 months and is ready to go home! She is quite the character and is curious of her surroundings. She has some handling sensitivity due to her weight (mainly being resistant to being picked up). She would do best in a home without children, preferably with an experienced adopter that can also work on her weight. We're feeding her a wet food only diet to get her beach-body ready for that window spot with the sun. Think you might have a comfy spot on your couch for Harley? Come visit her today! Harley's Adoption Fee is 50% Off to qualified adopter(s).
Niko (ID: A414093) and Mika (ID: A414092) are a wonderful bonded pair of cats ready for another chance at a forever home. Niko is the meeter and greeter of the pair but both are friendly, affectionate, playful and full of personality. Mika is more of a watcher and waiter before he joins in and may take extra time and TLC to help him adjust to a new home. Niko is quite a good-looking fellow with his Siamese markings, two-tone nose and slightly crossed eyes. Handsome Mika has a bit of grumpy cat look to him but is sweet, gentle and very fond of Niko. Give these gentle cats a home together.

This nice, big boy is still waiting! Have today be his day! Rudolph is a big, sweet boy ready for a second chance at a forever home. He is friendly, curious and super handsome, too. Rudolph needs an adopter that can work with a vet to help him get to a healthier weight (luckily he is a playful guy which will help). He sometimes seems uncomfortable with his bulk and is sure to feel better as he sheds some of his extra weight and becomes more able to groom himself. Come meet Rudolph and see if you are the one to make a difference in this nice big boy's life.

LITTLE ONE is alert and curious but also a seems a bit sad and lost at the adoption center -- perhaps missing his former home. He is affectionate and friendly once he gets to know you. Little One has very distinct tabby markings -- he is one seriously handsome guy! He can be a bit of a talker and may need a good amount of attention and an adopter who has the time and desire to have an active companion and is cat experienced and will not mind when Little One is feeling independent. A home without children and possibly with Little One as the only pet would be best (he does OK with the other cats at PFE -- mostly ignores them). Come meet Little One and see if this is the cat for you!
He is available for adoption at Pet Food Express Adoption Center, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco, CA (415-431-4567)

BATMAN is a big, handsome sweetheart of a lap cat waiting to make some fortunate person a wonderful cat companion. Let Batman be your hero and home for the holidays and beyond!

KD is a one-of-a-kind and unusual fella that had a long trip to get here. He is the remaining Hurricane Irma Evacuee that came from a Florida shelter to get a home. KD can often be shy with new people he meets and will hide “undercover” but has made lots of friends with the other kitties at the adoption center and it quite amusing if you spend time with him. He took a little time to adjust to all the changes but is now ready to meet his new family -- a cat experienced home that doesn't include young children would be best. KD can be a bit nervous on first meeting but quickly warms up to show his affectionate and friendly self. KD has a sweet melodic meow that he sings to the other kitties and folks who come to meet him. Be the recipient of his sweet blinky eyes and the one to give a KD a chance at a loving and secure forever home. He is now available for adoption at Pet Food Express Adoption Center, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 415-431-4567. A408105

Sweet boy SOOT (found as a stray under a car) is ready for a forever home. He is a cutie and is nice and affectionate though on the shy side here at the shelter and in new places. He did great in his Tonis Kitty Rescue foster home. It would be ideal if he could be adopted with a confident kitten or go home to a cat-friendly confident adult cat and by someone who will help him build confidence and give him the extra TLC he needs to blossom into a wonderful cat. This gentle boy is curious and playful and that will help him interact and bring him close to you as he settles into his new home.

CALLIUO is a nice distinguished senior cat. This big fellow is mellow, friendly, and affectionate and super handsome, too, with his distinctive markings. Calliuo is looking for a great home to enjoy his golden years. Come be the one to fall for this big loving cat!!
Martha is a gorgeous calico cat. This almost senior gal needs a quiet home with preferably only 1 or 2 adult people. She should also be the only animal in her new home and be adopted by cat experienced folks only. Martha likes things on her own terms and can be a bit prickly or standoffish at times but when she is in the mood she is loving and lovely. Martha is friendly and alert and waiting to find her forever home. She is part of the Jackson Galaxy Cat Pawsitive program at ACC SF. One of the trainers wrote, "Martha is beautiful and smart. She's trained to do high fives, 'sit pretty,' and even jump through a hoop!" Please be her special adopter.

UPDATE: Biscuit and Marshmellow have been adopted together!
Biscuit and Marshmellow are couple of affectionate boys that are looking for a second chance at a forever home -- together. These nice bonded cats were sadly surrendered to the shelter because of landlord issues. They are a bit shy here at the shelter but welcome a visit and some lovin'. Marshmellow is the more social of the 2 but they are both sweet (and oh-so-soft!) and are sure to blossom in a steady and loving home. Biscuit and Marshmellow are true treats, come adopt them today.
They are available for adoption at Pet Food Express Adoption Center, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco, CA (Phone: 415-431-4567)
Popsicle and Krispie are friendly, fun, and easy to handle bunnies. They will climb in your lap and hang out. They are cute, active and ready for forever homes. You may recall ACC SF rescued 40+ rabbits from a home in SF that was trying to sell them for meat or pets. See http://www.ktvu.com/news/ktvu-local-news/236576762-story for the story. Many of the underage bunnies – like Popsicle and Krispie – went to foster homes while getting socialized and old enough to be available for adoption.
Handsome Rudy is ready. Ready to meet you. Ready to show you what a nice cat he is. And Rudy is really ready for his forever home. Rudy is friendly, affectionate, curious, and gently playful young cat and someone will be fortunate to adopt him!
UPDATE: Bailey and Gucci have been adopted together!!
Bailey (left) and Gucci (right) are a couple of nice, affectionate cats. They came to the shelter because their person passed away. Bonded pair Bailey and Gucci may take a little extra time to adjust to a new home and may seem a bit shy when you first meet them. Adjusting to shelter life was not easy breezy for them - but they will be well worth any extra time and TLC. Bailey is a beautifully unique looking cat with her wild cat-like coloring and distinct face markings. Gucci is a classically handsome tuxedo fellow. Be the lucky one to adopt Bailey and Gucci together today!
Gucci's & Bailey's Adoption Fee Waived to Qualifed Adopter(s) thanks to a generous donation by SFACC Cat Volunteer, Phyllis.
